When designing their latest character for FromSoftware's Elden Ring, a fan came up with an impressively sinister-looking interpretation of Albert Einstein that was used as inspiration for the creation of the fan's latest character for the popular game. Recent updates provide hints that the long-rumored downloadable content for Elden Ring may be arriving sooner rather than later. This information comes at a time when gamers are continuing to explore the massive world of the action RPG Lands Between with their sometimes wildly original created characters. Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware and released in the early years of 2022, was a reimagining, in the form of an open world, of the Soulslike genre, which the company had helped to establish. Elden Ring Legendary Gears was both one of the most successful video games of 2022 on a global scale and the recipient of a number of awards for Game of the Year. The game's stark yet beautiful setting and satisfying combat were able to attract both players who were familiar with the developer's iconic Dark Souls series as well as players who were new to the genre. FromSoftware has announced that there will be a live Elden Ring Legendary Gears (show prices) anniversary event streamed from the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Stockholm later this month.

The announcement comes as the critically acclaimed game is getting close to the one-year mark since its initial release

  1. In a new post on the r/Eldenring subreddit, user Volkornbrot_ shares a screenshot of the villainous version of the famous scientist Albert Einstein that they designed for the game

  2. This provides a hilarious illustration of just how powerful the character creator in Elden Ring is

  3. The one-of-a-kind custom character appears to be ready to take on even the most dangerous foes in the game, as evidenced by the fact that he or she is sporting the theoretical physicist's signature wild hair and mustache as well as glowing red eyes

  4. Players have managed to put a wide variety of characters into Elden Ring thanks to the robust character creation system that is included in FromSoftware's action role-playing game (RPG)

  5. These characters include Kratos from God of War and Walter White from Breaking Bad

  6. Redditors who responded to the post expressed their enthusiasm for the dark interpretation of Einstein, despite the fact that some commenters believed the creation looked more like two of the most well-known antagonists in gaming than it did the famous scientist

One of the responses made the observation that the Elden Ring Legendary Gears creation bore a striking resemblance to the villain Dr. Wily from the Mega Man video game series, while another made the joke that, with a minor adjustment to the hairstyle, "you've got Dr. Robotnik too."Other responses pondered which move set would be appropriate for Volkornbrot's terrifying creation, with one helpful comment suggesting that a Gravity Sorcery build seemed appropriate for the intimidating creation. The ability to design a character that is truly one of a kind is a major selling point of Elden Ring, and this entertaining version of the villainous Einstein certainly fits the bill when it comes to originality. Although it is likely that this created character will be too busy fighting demigods to ponder the mysteries of the universe, perhaps the evil scientist will have some spare time to figure out the physics behind the strange  glitch that is causing some players to fall at ridiculously fast speeds.
